The Restube Automatic can be thrown from a distance as first aid to a person in need of rescue. The buoyancy of 75 N, approx. 7.5 kilograms, means that a buoyancy aid can be quickly brought to an adult person. This means that the person with the buoyancy aid can stay in the water for longer and wait for rescue or swim ashore with support.
The bright yellow color of the buoy significantly increases the visibility of the person to be rescued. This makes it easier to find the person in the water again afterwards.
